I am selling two copies of The War magazine and dates are 9th and 23rd May 1941, they are a bit brown around the edges and quite grubby although they have no pages missing and are, of course readable.

No4 in the born in battle, the story of the ground forces from the 1940′s to the 1st Merkava battle tanks in the 1970′s/80′s, each page as at least one picture, plus some good colour pictures 80 pages long, cover is worn and a bit creased but pages are in very good order. 2nd postaged, overseas please ask on new RM postage

The index contains a date reference, so that any date referred to in the publication has a corresponding page number. Read articles by experts in Royal Naval Division history & accounts by the Officers and men who took part. About their formation and training at Walmer, Betteshanger, Crystal Palace & Blandford.Action regarding the 1914 defence of Antwerp, the 1915/16 Gallipoli campaign & their extensive battles on the Western Front from 1916 to 1918, when renamed 63rd (RN) Division. Also so much more from trench digging, Lewis gun training to medical matters etc. This history took over 6 years to research and produce and was expensive in time, travel & general costs etc. To buy the complete history at the original price would have coat at that time £185.
