Item: Charles Buchan’s Football Monthly No 1.Date of Publication: Sept 1951, this was the first issue of Charles Buchan’s football Monthly launched at the beginning of the 1951/2 season.Description: This football magazine was to run for the next twenty odd years. This particular edition therefore has greater rarity value. Stanley Mathews (blackpool & england) later knighted for services to football and twice footballer of the year is on the cover.The magazine is in one piece with all pages intact. The outside corners are slightly worn, with small knick in the top right corner (see photo’s of front and back cover). Please contact me if you would like to enquire about other titles.
