I have for sale one copy of ‘The Brand New Monty Python Papperbok’ This book is in very good condition for its age as you can see by the pictures but I am not putting a large reserve on it. It is complete with all the ‘cut out and paste’ pages intact including the ‘school library’ sticker on the front page and the instructions on ‘how to take out your appendix on the Picadilly Line’ I have seen this book on sale elsewhere on Ebay for £11.99 so get bidding and bag a bargain. May 1969 Volume 23 #121 of Hertfordshire Countryside magazine the monthly magazine that covered all aspects of life and history in the county of Hertfordshire. The cover features the roundabout at the junction of Norton Way and Pixmore Way at Letchworth before it was redeveloped, features and articles include the village of Nuthampstead and the Ware Hadham and Buntingford railway as well as general interest pieces on the Capri motorcar and womens fashion and a range of local interest adverts. There is some general outer edge wear and the covers have vertical creases adjacant to the spine and are a little grubby or rubbed but the contents are in good condition. Collection comprises of 84 magazines starting with Winter edition 1979 then is made up of Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter collections for years 1980-89, 1990-99, 2000-05 and finishes with 2006 editions for Spring, Summer and Autumn. Some magazines are presented in a folder, some are loose. The folders are in varying states of condition. Each magazine typically looks at English towns, tributes to English wartime heros, postbox monologues all ending with a “Patience Strong Poem”.
